Xiaoli Peng

Xiaoli Peng is a postdoctoral researcher at Institut Néel (CNRS/UGA, Grenoble) in Dr Benjamin Sacépé’s group. She earned her PhD (2024) in condensed-matter physics from the University of Groningen (Netherlands), where she developed high-performance van der Waals devices based on transition-metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). She then held a one-year postdoctoral position in Groningen investigating clean superconductivity in TMDs. At Institut Néel, she works on two fronts: (i) gate-tunable graphene Josephson junctions-particularly in the quantum Hall regime-to probe topological superconductivity; and (ii) microwave dissipation in disordered superconductors, aiming to identify universal trends that set intrinsic coherence limits in superconducting quantum circuits.
